Every so often, interest in oil production near Radville starts getting attention. In recent weeks, a drilling rig showed up south of Radville, for the first time in a long time. And now, that area was the highlight of the Feb. 6 Crown land sale for petroleum and natural gas mineral rights.
CAOEC responds to NDP private members bill to end oil and gas advertising
The CAOEC strongly opposes Bill C-372, Fossil Fuel Advertising Act, introduced by Mr. Charlie Angus, Member of Parliament from Timmins—James Bay (Ontario), the organization said in release on Feb. 7.
The Bill proposes to prohibit the advertisement of Canadian oil and gas.
