ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — A Texas company has reached a multimillion-dollar settlement with the federal government and the state of New Mexico to address air pollution concerns in the largest oil and gas producing region in the United States.

CAOEC responds to NDP private members bill to end oil and gas advertising
The CAOEC strongly opposes Bill C-372, Fossil Fuel Advertising Act, introduced by Mr. Charlie Angus, Member of Parliament from Timmins—James Bay (Ontario), the organization said in release on Feb. 7.
The Bill proposes to prohibit the advertisement of Canadian oil and gas.
