What a Sask Party win means for energy – seeking to hit 600,000 bpd, and eventually 1 million; nuclear power development
Drill, baby, drill. Moe wants to increase oil production in Saskatchewan to 600,000 barrels per day, but eventually to 1 million. His government will spend a substantial amount of its time over the next four years preparing for the final decision on small modular reactors in 2029. And expect the carbon tax fight to continue, along with other energy and climate fights.

But at the beginning of the school year, similar classes were announced for tourism, automotive and autobody. And those critics have yet to issue a peep about the horrors of hoteliers indoctrinating kids. That says something about the media critics, doesn’t it?

Election 2024: Keep coal, increase oil production to 1 million barrels per day, refine more here: Buffalo Party
In the big picture, we know that we have coal for 300 years. It’s a very cost-effective source of energy and the jobs that it provides for small town Saskatchewan, we have to protect. And that’s why we’re the only party that’s rejected the UN 2030 agenda. We’ve passed policy that we will not adhere to any of that. And the Paris Accord, again, which is a UN design, we will not recognize the Paris accord either. The UN’s an unelected, unaccountable entity, and they should not be affecting the people of Saskatchewan’s lives or incomes.”

He said, “With a little bit of certainty provided at the federal level, I think we’ll be able to not only achieve that, but go beyond and you don’t have to go far away to the south to see states that have been able to achieve that. We would like (to be part of) the million barrel club at some point in the future.”
