A Saskatchewan First Nation is getting into the helium game in this province, buying a non-operating stake in a new helium development near Val Marie, Saskatchewan. The new economic partnership with Royal Helium, announced on April 16, in turn will expand the number of helium producers operating in this province.
Budget 2024: Everything energy related in the finance minister’s speech

Two critical minerals announcements came out of the Saskatchewan government on April 15, involving opposite sides of the planet. One was in relation to processing rare earth metals from Vietnam, the other involved strategic minerals for France.
