ESTEVAN – The Estevan Oilfield Technical Society Bonspiel is looking for six more teams to sign up for this year’s event, to be held March 20-21 at the Power Dodge Curling Centre.
Ideally 24 teams take part in the bonspiel each year. But sometimes it takes a bit of effort to get those last teams, so here’s your chance.
Registration is done through the OTS website at EstevanOTS.com. The cost is $400 per team, which includes the curling and steak supper on the Friday evening. Registration is expected to close on Wednesday, March 18. Any questions can be directed to info@estevanots.com
Registration is at 11 a.m. on the Friday, with the first draw at noon.
The Lampman Oilmens vs Farmers event is also taking place March 18-22, meaning there’s competition for curlers that weekend.
Coming up on May 1 is the OTS Top Gun Trap Shoot. The one-day shooting event at the Estevan Trap Shooting Club tends to sell out. The entry fee is $180 per shooter. It’s a four-trap event with five shooters per team. Registration is again on the website.
And looking a little down the line, on May 28-30 is the annual OTS Golf Tournament at TS&M Woodlawn Golf Club.
