Pipeline Online has been following American geopolitical strategist Peter Zeihan now for several years, and has found him to be one of the most prescient analysts of the world’s economic, geopolitical, and demographic trends. Eight years ago, he predicted Russia would invade Ukraine within eight years.

COVID took him off the stage for over two years. If you want him to speak at your convention, you have to pen a $25,000 cheque for the hour. Well, on Sept. 8 he spoke to 54th Annual ECC PerspECCtive Conference in San Antonio, Texas. “Energy at the End of the World”.

The video of that keynote was posted on Sept. 23 on YouTube. He spends a lot of time talking about oil, refining, shipping, natural gas, steel shortages, neon and more. He predicts Germany’s manufacturing sector will be decimated in 1.5 years, and it won’t come back. But refining in the US is likely to dramatically expand. It’s worth taking an hour of your weekend to watch and listen.
