There are some days I think I’m kinda smart. But you get into a room, virtual or otherwise, with an Adam Waterman or a Matt Cugnet, and you realize how dumb you really are. So I guess I have to fake it.
Anyways, I was able to take part in the year-end wrap up for the New Lloydminster Nissan Live with Kurt Price Patchwork Podcast just before Christmas, and they had Adam Waterman, Tracy Klotz, Kurt Price and me in one of the best conversations I’ve had all year about the state of the industry. I first met Adam when he was working with Baytex. But in the past year he joined Klotz to be chief operating officer of Integrity Energy, a Lloydminster-area and based junior heavy oil producer headed by Klotz. They offer some amazing perspective on a lot of the files I’ve been working on this year, and continue working on.
