Enbridge’s Weyburn wind project open house, Part 5: Health, setbacks, provincial dollars
Within days of the June announcement Enbridge had bought into the project, the province of Saskatchewan announced $100 million in loan guarantees for Indigenous groups to take part in the ownership stake. Pipeline Online spoke to Premier Scott Moe about this point the day after the open house, and that will be included in the year end interview videos to be published in the coming days.

For 12 hours again this past weekend, power in Alberta was “free,” with BC and Montana benefitting greatly
Unless generators had side deals for things like carbon credits, all Alberta generators getting the pool price were providing that power for free for half a day over the weekend. The entire Alberta grid, ever refinery, factory, hospital, streetlamp, home, refinery and video billboard, in a territory the size of Germany, was cumulatively once again provided with power for less than the price of one, singular, Timbit.
Enbridge pipeline spills 70,000 gallons of oil in Wisconsin in November
Enbridge said the spill on the company’s Line 6 was caused by a faulty connection on a pump transfer pipe at the Enbridge Cambridge Station. It was an estimated 1,650 barrels, which is equivalent to about 70,000 gallons.
