Enbridge’s Seven Stars wind project survives crucial RM of Weyburn vote
Enbridge’s Seven Stars Energy Project lives to carry on another day, as the RM of Weyburn passed a critical bylaw amendment on May 7 which will remove a restriction on wind turbine height.

SaskPower awards major wind and solar projects to Meadow Lake Tribal Council, Mistawasis Nêhiyawak and Potentia partnerships
The two projects are a 200 megawatt wind facility to be located east of Assiniboia, and a 100 megawatt solar facility south of Coronach. Two partnerships formed by Potentia Renewables Inc., and its Indigenous partners, Meadow Lake Tribal Council (MLTC) and Mistawasis Nêhiyawak First Nation, will develop, own, and operate a new wind and a new solar facility in south-central Saskatchewan.
