Jim Warren: COVID-19 and climate change. How much will people take?
Perhaps there is something about the rarefied air of the Laurentians that convinces our policy making elite that their mantle of virtue and belief in our impending doom places them beyond the mortal bounds of common sense and the realities of social and economic life for most of us. Claims about following the science that are assumed to add a cachet of rationality and “truth” to their positions won’t be sufficient to avoid dissent and conflict.

Steve Halabura: Potash 101

So quipped the head of the Independent Petroleum Association of America at an industry event in Calgary in 1991. Gas was big business 30 years ago, and it’s finally back in a big way. Rejoice.

Brian Crossman: Indirect influence (or communicate for crying out loud)
When I write these columns, articles, opinion pieces or whatever the hell you call them, I know full well the people reading them probably agree with what I have to say. Hey, I work in the energy industry and this publication is Pipeline Online, right? So yeah, the...
