Today is your last chance to attend the Lloydminster Heavy Oil Show. There’s a noon luncheon with industry associations (tickets are still available at the door.)
Wednesday was highlighted by Premier Scott Moe and Premier Danielle Smith taking part in a discussion moderated by energy advocate Deidra Garyk. Pipeline Online videoed the event and will be posting it, along with relevant portions of the press conference, some time next week.
And there’s a fair bit to report on from that discussion and press conference. Premier Smith brought up revisiting defunct pipeline projects like Keystone XL, Northern Gateway and Energy East. There was also reference to possible nuclear reactors in the region, likely on the Saskatchewan side of the border with intertie to Alberta. Expect in depth coverage from Pipeline Online in the days ahead.
