Al Gore’s giving speeches again: Why Climate Action Is Unstoppable — and “Climate Realism” Is a Myth

Apparently his 2006 film, An Inconvenient Truth, with its ice free polar regions didn’t really pan out, did it? Nonetheless, former Vice President Al Gore is on stage again. TED published this on YouTube on July 4.

Here’s the description from YouTube:

“In this urgent and hard-hitting talk, Nobel Laureate Al Gore thoroughly dismantles the fossil fuel industry’s narrative of “climate realism,” contrasting their misleading claims with the remarkable advancements in renewable energy. The event was held in Kenya. How did he get there? Sailboat? And yet he rails against the fossil fuel industry he used to get to the very conference he spoke at. You can’t make this up.

If Gore had been correct in Inconvenient Truth, why would Canada need to build a fleet of icebreakers to make Churchill viable for shipping oil? Oh, right.
