What if you could breathe new life into an old, depleted well? What if you could make use of existing infrastructure like pumping equipment, tubing, flowlines and batteries, as well as the vertical wellbore, itself? That’s exactly what the new incentive offered by the Province of Saskatchewan tries to do, by incentivizing the reinvigoration of old wells by drilling new, additional horizontal legs.
