Questerre Energy Corp. president and CEO Michael Binnion has long been outspoken on Quebec energy policy, as one of the few companies who have earnestly tried to develop oil and gas in La Belle Province. That company, whose operations include the Antler region, near Redvers, Saskatchewan, had, in the past leased large amounts of acreage in Quebec, but couldn’t do anything with it due to that province’s ban on fracking. On Oct. 20, Binnion put out a statement on the Quebec throne speech talking about banning hydrocarbons.
