PSAC rebrands as “Enserva,” dumping “Petroleum” as part of its name

CALGARY – In the last year, the CAODC became the CAOEC. On Sept. 23, PSAC, the Petroleum Services Association of Canada, rebranded itself as Enserva. It’s continuing a trend of ditching terms like “petroleum” or “oilwell” in branding, in favour of “energy.”

In a press release on that day, PSAC said, “Canada’s energy industry is transforming, and so is Enserva – today, our association is proud to officially announce our rebrand from our previous identity as the Petroleum Services Association of Canada to our new moniker, Enserva. This exciting rebrand better reflects who our Association is and where we are going.”
