SaskPower’s plan to replace clean, reliable and affordable coal-fired power from Estevan’s Boundary Dam with 650 MW of power from the Southwest Power Pool in the U.S. starting in 2027, will not only cost Saskatchewan residents a billion dollars, it will also devastate Estevan and put the entire provincial economy at risk.
