Ontario is working on building the largest nuclear power plant in the world, and it impacts Saskatchewan’s nuclear plans, too

Whatever reactor design OPG chooses will likely have a heavy influence on SaskPower’s choice. If OPG and Bruce Power choose the same reactor model, then SaskPower will almost certainly follow along. If they choose different models – one choosing CANDU, the other Westinghouse’s AP1000 for instance, then SaskPower will be placed in a quandary – which one does it choose?
