The scientific research described in this column challenges the validity of climate orthodoxy and the utility of the scenario-based computer modeling systems endorsed and employed by the IPCC. Unfortunately, this sort of information gets lost in the flood of media distorted, environmentalist exaggerated hype that constitutes conventional wisdom about global warming. If it turns out that GHG missions actually fail to account for a significant portion of the warming that’s occurred since 1850, it will show the mad rush to abandon fossil fuels is an unfortunate overreaction.
