I wrote a story which was the entire verbatim speech Pierre Poilievre delivered to the Saskatchewan Oil and Gas Show. Facebook would not allow me to run an ad promoting that story. And if you don’t pay Facebook (Meta) to push your content out, it will hardly show it to anyone. When Poilievre speaks of “gatekeepers,” this is precisely what he is referring to. It is very real.
